Sweet CreekTrail

 Sweet Creek Trail is an easy and worth while trial in Mapleton Oregon. The trail follows Sweet Creek which is littered with waterfalls. I drove to the second trailhead due to time constraints, next time I will stop at the first and hike the waterfalls I saw from the road way.

These snails were abundant and about the size of a silver dollar.

 

The Yellow plant is Skunk Cabbage. It smells terrible (hence the name) and attracted all sorts of insects. I've seen black bears eat skunk cabbage in the past.
